Getting there: Near Mahkota Parade.
I walked in and was shown a big broad table. As I sat, the menu came with nothing but drinks. Was was asked for a drink and most of them seems unfamiliar. Popular drinks are like the ice kacang equivalent and avocado juice.
As soon as my drink orders were taken, dishes came without ordering. It seems, they have a look at us and determine what we would like. No choosing at this stage. Once the table is filled with dishes, it is time to make custom orders if you have any. An inventory of dishes on the table will be taken and systematically taken away if you have not touch some of them. Basically, they lay out dishes on the field (padang) and you take what you want and they will take back what you don’t want.
