Well patrons stall in a strategic tourist location. I saw a crowd in front of the stall some asking for a second helping. I decided to try based on its popularity.

I was horribly disappointed. I think the river water behind the stall would have tasted better. I wonder why people even bother going for a second helping.

Getting there: Near the Historic district, just across the river, in front of the OCBC bank towards Jonker Street.

Chicken rice without fork and spoon? Well, it is very possible in this outlet. How is that so? They roll the chicken rice in to balls and serve the balls on plate so that you can have them with chopsticks. The only spoon you will find is the one dipped in to the chili sauce. Pricing of chicken rice balls is in number of balls you have.

Chicken was well marinated and tender served in generous portion. The plate of chicken rice ball comes in set of 5. My expectation when eating the chicken rice ball is to expect the same as having just chicken rice, but I was wrong. It had a firm exterior, very soft texture inside and very good fragrance. It seems the recipe of the chicken rice ball is a family secret; the kitchen is in a locked room. A well guarded secret?
