Location: N02 11.1362 E102 15.6345 Melaka, Melaka
Getting there: Along the main road at a place called Melaka Raya.
Meal: Lunch
The place claims to serve home cooked food; the chef must be staying in the kitchen to call it home.
I had deserts early; the ice kacang size was surprising, came in a very small bowl and a really petit size. The goodies at the bottom is generous and topped generously with gula melaka syrup. The combination is rather sweet because of the generous spread of the coconut sugar. Quite sloppy work with presentation, my hand got coated with sugar just touching the base of the bowl.
The rice came in a large bowl to be share in the table. I had otak-otak, kangkung belacan and eggplant (brinjal or aubergine) for the main course. The otak-otak is quite good; however, I think it lacked pepper leaf (daun kaduk). The vegetable is quite good too.
