About this site
During casual conversations, when people talk about good places to eat, they often give vague description of the place. Some of these places are often described as a junction of some road, back alley of some street or under some tree; worse still, a certain mile off certain road. Giving me a name of a street in an unfamiliar town is of no help whatsoever.
Often, hunting for the places with an address on a piece of paper results in frustrating calls to those who recommend, turning to wrong corners or worse still, not finding the place at all. Sometimes, one may pass by the place without realising it.
With GPS technology becoming more affordable, locating a place by GPS coordinate makes more sense than having an address on a piece of paper. With a GPS, you would know how far you are from a location; whether you are heading nearer to the destination or going the wrong direction.
